Job Summary:
Easterseals West Georgia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically autism, to provide behavioral therapy and support. Your role will involve implementing behavior plans, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Duties:
- Implement behavior plans developed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to individuals with autism
- Assist individuals with ADLs, such as personal hygiene, mealtime routines, and household tasks
- Collect and analyze data on individual progress and behavior
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop effective treatment strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure the well-being of individuals in your care

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, special education) preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on behavioral observations
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and techniques in behavioral health
